Back in 2022 I found photos of an extended family including several Jorgensens . Recently I returned to the antique store and sorted through another pile of photos and found three more. Two were taken at the same time, the same woman. On the back of the first one is: "Caroline Hansena Jorgensen 18 or 19 yrs of age." There is a studio mark: Myklebrost, Eagle Grove. Caroline Hansena Jorgensen The second photo has written in ink on the back: "Caroline Jorgensen Braumann [and] Mother of La Vonne." Caroline Jorgensen Braumann The third photo has written on the back: "Roy & Pearl Jorgensen [and] April 12, 1945." Roy and Pearl Jorgensen, 12 April 1945. It took me a while to track down Caroline, whose name was sometimes spelled Carolyn. I eventually located it by searching for a Braumann who died in Tucson and her husband Walter showed up.
