Eight photographs from an extended family from Iowa.

I searched the 1910 census for Iowa for Axel Hansen and quickly located the family in Troy, Wright County, Iowa. Hans, Caroline, and Hans C. were born in Denmark (came to the USA in 1884), the other children were born in Iowa. Hans was a general farmer, Hans C. was a grain buyer, and Axel was a laborer on the farm. Caroline was the mother of 12 children, 11 of whom were still living (there are 11 children in the photo).

Another photograph from the Myklebust studio of Eagle Grove, Iowa. On the back in black and blue ink "Grandpa & Grandma Hansen[,] Uncle Herman & Aunt Carrie Nelson" with a line running down from Carrie stating "Grand Hansen's sister & so good to Grandma Gertie."
The man on the left is Hans Hansen, 1857-1941, and the woman seated at left is wife Caroline (Christiansen) Hansen, 1858-1945. The photograph inscription suggests that the woman seated at right was Caroline (Christiansen) Hansen's sister, but I am uncertain if this is correct.
Back row: Hans Hansen and Herman Nelson. Front row: Caroline (Christiansen) Hansen and Carrie (Christiansen?) Nelson.
A photograph from the Nelson Studio of Eagle Grove, Iowa. On the back in black and blue ink is "Peter Jorgensen & wife[,] Our fathers half brother" and "1977 This is Grandfather John Jorgensen's half brother. Ora Jorgensen."
This is Peter Jorgensen and his wife Sarah Hansen. They appear on the 1910 census, living in Dayton, Wright County, Iowa with their children Elmer, Alfred, Harry, Roy, and Howard. The census states the couple came to the USA in 1882 and had been married for 18 years (circa 1892). Peter was born circa 1871 and Sarah circa 1872. In 1915 they were living in Eagle Grove.

This is Adel Ophelia Hansen, daughter of Hans and Caroline Hansen, and her husband Thomas Jesse Stryker, who were married on 22 August 1908 at Clarion, Wright County, Iowa. There is a photo of Adel taken in 1966 on Ancestry.

Stella May (Stryker) Will.
The seventh photograph is by the Ayres studio of Eagle Grove, Iowa. On the back in blue pen is "Hans & Mary Nielsen & daughter Hilda" and "Aunt of Gertie Jorgensen." I searched Ancestor Family Trees first for a Hans and Mary Nielsen in Wright County, Iowa. There were four entries. I then searched for a Hilda Nielsen born in Iowa with a father Hans. One entry came up. Hilda A. Nielsen was born on 21 July 1895 in Woolstock Township, Woolstock County, Iowa, where she died on 31 July 1898. Her parents were Hans Peter Nielsen (1863-1925) and Josephine Marie "Mary" (Christiansen) Nielsen (1869-1955). Mary is the sister of Caroline (Christiansen) Hansen in the second photograph above.
Mary (Christiansen) Nielsen holding Hilda Nielsen, Hans Nielsen.
The eighth photograph is also by the Ayres studio. On the back in blue pen is "Gertie Hansen Jorgensen before married." I searched Ancestry Family Trees for a Gertude Hansen who married a Jorgensen. The pertinent entry was for Gertrude "Gertie" Hansen born 25 May 1878 in Lyndelse, Langland, Denmark, married John N. Jorgensen, and died on 28 September 1877 in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona. She was the daughter of Hans Hansen and Caroline Jacobine (Fredricksen) Christiansen.
Gertrude (Hansen) Jorgensen.
The photographs were probably in the possession of Gertrude (Hansen) Jorgensen, who died in Tucson, and somehow ended up in an antique store here where I found them.
