A photo purchased at an antique store in Kingman, Arizona. It is from the Bushnell Fotographers who had branches in San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose, California.
On the back in blue ink is: Rebecca Bailey Segber and son Hiram[.] Grandmother of Beverly[.] Great Grandmother of Robert & Barbara[.] (Rebecca- grandmother of Beverly Segbers Howell[.] Hiram- father of Beverly S. (grandfather of Robert S. Howell [and] Barbara J.
Have never seen so much genealogical data on the back of a photo before.
I searched Ancestry Public Member Trees for a Hiram Seg* with a mother Rebecca Bailey. One entry in 19 trees.
Rebecca Bailey was born on 3 October 1867 in Livermore, Alameda County, California, the daughter of Hiram Bailey and Casimira Molina. She was married in 1892 to Joseph Segbers. On 25 October 1918 she was aboard the SS Princess Sophia when it ran aground in the Lynn Canal near Juneau, Alaska. All 364 persons on board died. Her body was recovered from inside the wreck and was buried in Roselawn Cemetery in Livermore, Alameda County, California.
Hiram Bailey Segners was born on 22 May 1893 in San Francisco, California. He was married to Irene Marieta Blomquist. He died in December 1973.
